JCW Consultants Pte. Ltd. was registered in August 2004 by James C Wong when he embarked on his first 11 years of entrepreneurship journey engaging in independent consulting. The company was dormant in the subsequent period of more than seven years while he was a joint-venture partner in two small- to medium-sized public accounting entities consecutively. Since exiting the last partnership at the end of March 2023, James revived and returned to his solo-consultancy practice.
JcW Consultants provide one-stop business advisory, corporate business support, corporate governance, and corporate secretaryship services that entrepreneurs, companies, and other organisations seek and need. Where necessary, we assist with sourcing from among our professional network any professional services beyond our portfolio and referring other skilled professionals to our clients. To achieve this, we firstly, listen attentively to identify client needs; secondly, think in breadth and depth, as appropriate and needed, to develop an optimal solution; and thirdly, deliver the services and solutions required.
In his early career, James Wong worked in Audit and Assurance with a Big-Four accounting firm and qualified in the US as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). During his second joint-venture partnership with a small accounting firm providing beginning to end professional services to clients, he trained part-time under the UK’s Chartered Governance Qualifying Programme (CGQP) and qualified for the Associate Chartered Secretary (ACS) and Associate Chartered Governance Professional (ACG) certifications. James’ credentials in business advisory, business support, corporate governance, and corporate secretaryship were further developed between the two periods mentioned above in activities that included corporate roles with a listed Company in the US, risk advisory with the Big-Four accounting firm, and adjunct teaching in two of Singapore’s local universities.
